HyperRESEARCH is an essential skill for Market Researchers

In an article in the April 19th, 2010 issue of the Hauseman Marketing Research Newsletter, the author discusses essential skills for employers to look for in hiring Market Researchers. Understanding the role of Community Health Workers through HyperRESEARCH

In volume 3, issue 3, Fall 2009, pp 227-235 of the journal of Progress in Community Health Partnerships: Research, Education, and Action, Caricia E. C. Catalani, Sally E. Findley, Sergio Matos, and Romelia Rodriguez present their finding of a qualitative study using HyperRESEARCH in the article "Community Health Worker Insights on Their Training and Certification." The article describes how "In recent years, the community health worker (CHW) field has grown significantly in the United States, with increasing numbers, roles, and visibility of CHWs. State health department regulators, health program administrators, and community health advocates have observed this growth with uncertainty about the definition of a CHW, how CHW roles differ from those of other health professionals, CHW training needs, and the potential impact of the growing certification and accreditation regulations."

From Technological Somnambulism to Epistemological Awareness: reflections on the impact of computer-aided qualitative data analysis

While HyperRESEARCH has changed a lot since this unpublished 1997 article by Prof. Paul Trowler of the Department of Educational Research at Lancaster University, the basic tenet about the use and effect of Computer Assisted/Aided Qualitative Data AnalysiS (CAQDAS) in qualitative research still holds. Researchware is proud to present "From Technological Somnambulism to Epistemological Awareness: reflections on the impact of computer-aided qualitative data analysis" with permission of Dr. Trowler. Among the article's many insights is a deft illustration the use of HyperRESEARCH's unique Hypothesis Tester feature. The original article can be found at http://www.lancs.ac.uk/staff/trowler/hyperres.htm and is reproduced below.
