Researchware Cofounder Appointed to Two Major Editorial Roles
Researchware is proud to announce that Researchware cofounder, Dr. Sharlene Hesse-Biber has been appointed Associate Editor of the Journal of Mixed Methods Research and has been appointed to the editorial board of the American Sociological Association's flagship journal, Sociological Methodology. Sharlene Janice Nagy Hesse-Biber, Ph.D. University of Michigan, is Professor of Sociology and the Director of Women’s and Gender Studies Program at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. She has published widely on the impact of sociocultural factors on women’s body image, including her book Am I Thin Enough Yet? The Cult of Thinness and the Commercialization of Identity (Oxford, 1996), which was selected as one of Choice Magazine’s best academic books for 1996. She recently published The Cult of Thinness (Oxford, 2007). She is the co-author of Working Women in America: Split Dreams (Oxford, 2005). She is co-editor of Feminist Approaches to Theory and Methodology: An Interdisciplinary Reader (Oxford, 1999), Approaches to Qualitative Research: A Reader on Theory and Practice (Oxford, 2004), and Emergent Methods in Social Research (Sage, 2006). She is co-author of The Practice of Qualitative Research (Sage, 2006; second edition, 2010) and co-editor of The Handbook of Emergent Methods (Guilford Publications, 2008 and upcoming paperback edition in 2011).

Cofounder Earns Sage Press's Most Downloaded Article
"Qualitative Approaches to Mixed Methods Practice" by Dr. Sharlene Hesse-Biber, a cofounder of Researchware, Inc. was presented by Sage Press online before appearing in print in the July 2010 (Vol. 16, No. 6, pp 455-468) issue of Qualitative Inquiry. We proud to congratulate our colleague on the article which has become Sage's "most downloaded article in 2010 in this journal (of all articles published in 2009 and 2010)."

HyperRESEARCH aids in Grant Combining Qualitative & GIS Data in Study on Technology in Spaces
While the integration of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Qualitative Data in mixed method research studies is a hot topic for today's researchers, S.M.
