Researchware at the American Sociological Association's Annual Meeting

photo5Researchware attended the 106th Annual Meeting of the American Sociological Association in Los Vegas, Nevada earlier this week. We were delighted by the response we received, with people from around the world stopping by our booth.

The first people to show up - at 9:05 on Saturday, when the booth was still being set up - was a customer who'd dragged two people with him to tell them they HAD to get a demo of HyperRESEARCH to really see what he was talking about. So as soon as the computers were up, they were given a quick demo.

Several people came by looking specifically for Dr. Sharlene Hesse-Biber, cofounder of Researchware and a leading qualitative researcher in the world today. Sharlene is shown in the photo answering questions to two ASA attendees (on either side of Sharlene). A momentary lull in booth traffic allowed our other booth staffer, Ann Dupuis, time to step out an snap the picture! Many more came by because they'd seen our insert in the conference registration package, or because they'd seen our Tweets using the #ASA2011 hashtag.

We'd also like to thank our long time customers who came by the booth. Researchware celebrates it's 20th anniverasy on September 24th, 2011 and we have many customers who have enjoyed the simplicity and power of our tools for many (and in some cases all) of those 20 years.

Our Researchware sticky-note pads were extremely popular with several hundred given away over the four days of the conference. Like most of you, we are Researchware keep pretty busy and sometimes sticky notes are the difference between order and chaos for many of us. We're delighted so many people at the annual meeting seemed to find them as useful as we do!

We also like to send out a huge congratulations to Stephen E. Roberts of the University of Florida on being our prize winner in our drawing for a free HyperBUNDLE, a $1,095.00 retail value.

We look forward to seeing many of you at next year's ASA meeting in Denver!
